OUR PROGRAMS

Innovative Solutions for Educational Excellence

STUDENT ASSESSMENT

This program assesses students using simple tools to determine their learning levels. Instead of grouping students by age or grade, they are grouped by their actual learning abilities, allowing for more targeted and effective instruction. This method ensures that each student receives the support they need based on their current skills.

TARGETED INSTRUCTION

Focused on foundational literacy and numeracy, this program uses engaging, play-based activities to teach essential skills. By making learning fun and interactive, students are more likely to grasp key concepts and improve their academic performance. The instruction is tailored to meet the needs of each learning group, ensuring no child is left behind.

FELLOW PLACEMENT

The fellowship recruits and trains outstanding Tanzanian graduates in the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) methodology. After a comprehensive four-week residential training, these fellows are placed in high-demand, low-resourced public primary schools. They commit to a two-year teaching term, where they work to improve educational outcomes in some of the most challenging environments.

PARENTAL ENGAGEMENT

This program aims to involve parents and caregivers in their children's education. Fellows work closely with families, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to support learning at home. By fostering collaboration between parents and teachers, the program enhances the overall educational environment, helping children to succeed both in and out of school

OUR GRADUATES

“I like the open and honest communication every week. I’m learning so much from others and things I need to change about myself.”
— Alethea Etinoff, Inaugural Cohort Fellow
